These kittens were killed only a few hours after this picture was taken.  A roaming pack of dogs that runs free in the town of Burns Flat left their bodies strewn across the driveway and yard.

Perhaps we should remind ourselves that tomorrow is not promised to us either.

Familiar Face

Sometimes the face says it all.

Cali lived for only a few months in Burns Flat before being obliterated with her sisters amidst a brutal attack by the stray dogs that run loose in the town.

Perhaps we should all take note that tomorrow is not promised to any of us.
